Some experience programs may be available for advance booking. As the day is expected to be crowded, please make a reservation in advance for your desired experience program.

Arrangement Workshop Taught by a Pro
2. This is a hands-on workshop where professional florists help people with no previous experience with flowers to create beautiful arrangements. Anyone is welcome to participate, making it a great choice for a child’s summer project. And of course you can take your flower arrangement home with you.

Azuma Bukuro (Cloth Sack) Making
2. This is a simple bag made by sewing a single piece of cloth approximately 297mm long and 420mm wide in two places. This type of bag originated in the Edo Period when commoners were inspired by the bags carried by Westerners and began sewing together furoshiki (wrapping cloths) and hand towels. You can also attach a shoulder strap and wear it as a cross body bag.

2. Make a lovely scarf that provides protection from both the sun and the cold. The material is incredibly soft and gentle against your skin. Add the finishing touch by sewing elastic cotton thread onto the fabric of more than 150cm in length to give it some gathered frills.
