Flower Decorating Technician Techniques - Application from the Basics

Demolition show of "wild tuna fish" from Japan

Culinary masters who have been trained for many years perform a spectacular performance of dismantling a large tuna weighing nearly 100 kilograms!
The show includes explanations of each dismantled part of the tuna, and conveys the importance of ioiku (fish education) and the fascination of cooking skills.

Yuka Suzuki ×Master of Kimono Dressing Stage
Furisode 2024 -Dressing & Dancing in Kimono

Yuka Suzuki will demonstrate how to tie an obi knot, which beautifully decorates furisode, the first formal dress for young women, under the guidance of a first-rate kimono stylist!
Please enjoy the gorgeous dancing to the music and the demonstration of the new obi knotting, and watch the "skill of a master kimono stylist" who has mastered the art of kimono dressing.

Demonstration of making cushions to match chairs made by Takumi and eco-friendly cotton handmade futons

Daikagura~The Origin of Japanese Performing Arts~

The four pillars of Daikagura, dance, acrobatics, storytelling, and narimonos (musical instruments), are the starting point of Japanese performing arts!
Please come and see the "artisanal skills of taikagura," which spread during the Edo period and has developed with the times through the Meiji, Taisho, Showa, and Heisei eras.

Tatami mat floor jointing work" for beautiful restoration

First-class tatami craftsmen demonstrate the tatami floor joining process, in which half tatami mats are joined together and restored to a single tatami mat!
Come and see the traditional "Tatami artisan's technique" that inherits the flooring culture of Japanese houses and contributes to the SDGs efforts in the Tatami industry.
