  • Try Your Hand at Suzuri Inkstone Carving!

This inkstone carving experience based on the traditional techniques of the Koshu Amahata Suzuri inkstones, which has been designated as an Intangible Cultural Asset of Yamanashi Prefecture and has a 300-year history dates back to the Edo Period. This workshop this will be offered under the guidance of contemporary master artisan Masami (Hoken) Amemiya.
