The Tokyo Metropolitan Vocational Skills Development Center, which has 13 schools in 4 blocks in the city, provides vocational training on knowledge and skills useful for job hunting and work. Each school takes advantage of the features of its location to offer vocational training in a wide variety of fields, including machines, electricity, equipment, construction, printing, nursing, and IT. Works created by students at these vocational schools are presented along with the features of that school’s curriculum. The National Tokyo Metropolitan Vocational Skills Development School for the Disabled, which provides vocational training to those with disabilities, will also be presented.
