Arranging the colors of the Fumizuki

You will see Ikebana demonstration by Hiroyama Okada, a master artisan from the Hiroyama school. The Hiroyama school is known for its natural style, such as its arrangement of wild flowers. We will introduce various techniques that make flowers and plants last longer during the demonstration. Enjoy the space of healing and relaxation that spreads across the stage.

Openwork Sculpting of Ice Statues and Flowers

Ice sculpting was a skill originally utilized to sculpt anything from small tablewares to making enormous ice sculptures at western-style party venus. On stage, the finishing touches of the ice statue, waterworks of flowers with grooves in the ice pillars and pouring in the pigment will be demonstrated by 2016 world champion Hideo Kase.

A special stage by a master carpenter and former kickboxer Masato, the official supporter of the 2019 Monozukuri - A Celebration of Japanese Artisanal Techniques.
A demonstration will be performed in which two teams, the Masato & Carpenter's Team" and the "ALL Carpenter's Team" will compete for the workmanship of the Ari-Kake (dovetailing), a basic skill in architectural carpentry." -
