  Opening Event: Special performance by Syuhei Hasado(Japanese plaster craftsman)

  

  A cool performance by Syuhei Hasado,a Japanese plaster craftsman who wrote the title letter of NHK Taiga drama(Japanese historical ficition television drama series)「Sanada Maru」 using a clay wall. Let's liven up our opening event.

  Live paint performance by Takeshi Sato

  

  Paint artist Takeshi Sato was born in Miyagi, Japan. His special paint style is that he will not use a paintbrush but only roller.
  His short but vigorous live performance shows have captured the attention of media worldwide.

  Tea room in a suitcase "ZEN-An" on the stage

  Japan, Tokyo, Edo, Japan's rusty ruins and styles of Edo are revived as a suitcase tea room "ZEN-An" by changing its shape to the present age.
  In the 1920s fashion, the name detective and three beautiful girls appeared, directed the surprise tea ceremony by solving the mystery of the suitcase tea room "ZEN-An".
  Collaboration with special appearing lecturer Kanda Kyoko. In the second half there is a tea room talk session by a crowd and a master. Please enjoy it.

  Shoji making (Shoji is a sliding screen with white paper on thin wooden laths)

  The attractions of Shoji making is that artisan will adjust wood processing position in the right palce of each wood depending on the characteristics of the wood and aesthetic completion by using Canna (plane). Though the process of Shoji making by using Japanese cypress wood(form marking to assembling),you can see greatness of the work of Japanese artisans.

  repaper the fusuma(Japanese papered sliding door)

  Fusuma performs the work called sublimation which stretches the Japanese paper many times to the lattice-like skeleton in which the wood has been assembled, stretches the sliding paper paper (upper clad) and finishes it with a rim. In this time, I will show you the process of finishing to put a slime paper on the sliding doors of the sliding door and attach the edges.

  Japanese traditional performing act Kyogen Workshop・Kyogen "God of fortune"

  The proformance is Subayako「Kamimai」(Happily song that God dance) and Kyogen「Fuku no Kami」(God of Fortune). A Participatory workshop is also available. Braid, handwipe, embroidery, the inseparable relationshiptraditional crafts and traditional performing arts. Please notice the costume.
